Some of you know me as Dr. Demeri, while others have been twirling and shimmying with me for ages—but no matter how you arrived, I’m over the moon you’re here!

My Zumba journey kicked off in 2008 when I accidentally waltzed into my first class in Toronto, feeling like a lost puppy but having the time of my life! It was an explosion of stress relief and pure joy, and I was instantly hooked. That magical moment ignited the #PersianZumba movement, bringing the vibrant beats of Persian music to a Zumba fitness class. It felt like my own living room growing up!

Now, I’m bursting to share that joy with YOU! Whether you’re here to groove, giggle, or just let loose, I hope you feel right at home, empowered, and ready to sparkle. And if you ever dream of leading your own Zumba class, with persian inspired coreography, I’m here to sprinkle some magic and help you make it happen!
